Located next to the big church in Sliedrecht, De Schalm was built in 1904 as a parsonage designed by architect J.H.B. Veenbos. The property also served as a service centre of the foundation of elderly welfare work for many years.
In the year 2005 the building was completely striped down followed by a thoroughly renovation. All floors are provided with an entirely new layout and the interior is restored in style.
