Piet van Es, the eponymous General Manager of van Es architecten, has over 30 years of experience as an independent architect, working with his own, truly unique perspective. “Architecture isn’t about simply making things that the architect likes himself – it’s about translating the client’s wishes into concrete forms. The key issue is collaboration, in which we take large shares of the project off the client’s hands. Building is an intensive process. The client has to deal with a wide range of issues.
