In Sliedrecht, van Es architecten oversaw the interior renovation of an existing private home.
The project involved the realisation of a contemporary interior design that centred on contact with water. In the new design, the bedroom is separated from the sanitary facilities by means of an element that doubles as a walk-in closet. The bathroom is characterised by its open atmosphere. This openness is strengthened by crystal-clear glass doors and a dominant sight line that directs one’s gaze towards the nearby river.
