In Barendrecht, van Es architecten has provided the design for the new wellness centre Wellnesselande.
With a programme of over 6,000 m², the new complex is one of the largest wellness centres in the Netherlands and houses a range of facilities, including various fitness areas, a swimming pool and a climbing tower.
The selected design has a striking and modern character, with cubist volumes and cut-out sections with large expanses of glass.
