Themes - Multi-functional accommodations

When realising a multi-functional complex, van Es architecten pays a great deal of attention to the building’s social aspects. Open and inviting architecture can create a versatile meeting place for those in the wider area. The level of quality envisioned by the client forms a key frame of reference throughout the entire project.

By formulating a clear programme of requirements and conducting an analytical study of the building’s desired functionality, we can add significant added value to the complex as a social environment. Within the building as a whole, it is important to take due account of the various identities of its different users. By realising a number of unique environments around the common areas, we can effectively bring a variety of functions under a single roof, while simultaneously preserving their distinct identities. Open spaces, the careful application of colour and natural materials contribute to a pleasant and inspiring environment for people to work, live and interact in.

Our multi-functional projects include:

The new premises of MFC Het Bosch in Lexmond
The new Christengemeente building in Hardinxveld-Giessendam
A new building for MFA De Haveling in Wijngaarden
